Annual Conference Logo
This logo was developed for the 2022 NCACE Annual Conference. The event theme: “Reaching New Heights: Learning Together” is reflected, along with the location of the conference, in the mountain design.
First Iteration
For the initial drafts of the logo, I considered the theme: “Reaching New Heights: Learning Together” and the setting of the conference, to develop several logos featuring the Blue Ridge Mountains. For many of them, I drew inspiration from vintage park badges, but also tried a simple outline design.
Second Iteration
The hexagonal design was the popular choice, and I returned to this design to add more robust colors and some variations in the sky.
Final Design
The final design incorporates the theme of “Reaching New Heights: Learning Together,” with the conference location with richer colors. There are two varieties (one with and one without the navy border) to ensure it stands out on both light and dark backgrounds.
